Trio of Joreuz, archie, and oaly set to form
After much discussion about other potential landing spots, the trio of Joris “Joreuz” Robben, Archie “archie” Pickthall, and Ole “oaly.” van Doorn are set to compete together in the 2022-23 RLCS season.

Joreuz spent the previous season competing for Dignitas, where he qualified for the Fall and Winter Majors, as well as the World Championship. He also helped Dignitas to win one regional event in Europe, back in the Fall Split. Joreuz was among the top statistical performers in many of the season’s biggest events. He led all players in Octane.gg Rating at the Fall Major with an astonishing 1.570 (the highest Octane.gg Rating recorded by a player in LAN competition this year), and was third at the World Championship in the same statistic. The Dutchman’s 1v1 prowess makes him a force across the entire pitch, and he’ll hope to bring that assertive style of play to his new trio.
His new teammate, archie, is also a dominant end-to-end force in the European RLCS. He began the season with SMPR Esports, who he helped to a top-four finish at the Fall Major by finishing among the leaders in Octane.gg Rating, saves per game, and shots per game. The Brit finished the season on loan with Endpoint CeX, and he led them to the Spring Major and World Championship by continuing to influence play as a high-level shooter, playmaker, and defender. After initially being slated to sign with Moist Esports this offseason, archie has instead decided to join this new trio after the move fell through.
The final member of the new trio is oaly, another Dutchman. He opened last season with The Flying Dutchmen alongside Jos “ViolentPanda” van Meurs and Thomas “ThO.” Binkhorst. He participated in the first three regionals of the season before failing to qualify for any events in the Winter Split. This led to oaly’s departure from The Flying Dutchmen (acquired by Heroic), upon which he joined ThO and Mike “Mikeboy” Verkuijlen on Solary. Solary shocked the European RLCS by finishing third in their first event together and winning the Dacia Spring Electric Cup, but failed to turn their hot start into a Spring Major berth. He led Solary in Octane.gg Rating in all three Spring Split events, as he was able to shoot, save, and assist a high level.
Each member of this new trio is extremely well-rounded on the pitch, and can lead their team to great heights by dominating the entire field. Based on their statistical prowess and vast experience, they will be a new contender in Europe if they can find the right balance.
The new team will consist of:
🇳🇱 Joris “Joreuz” Robben
🇬🇧 Archie “archie” Pickthall
🇳🇱 Ole “oaly.” van Doorn
