Spacestation Gaming to sign LJ from Oxygen Esports
After the much-discussed move by Spacestation Gaming to remove Slater “Retals” Thomas from the active roster, the team is set to sign Logan “Lj.” Wilt to round out the starting lineup. Spacestation Gaming finished 9th-12th at the World Championship, after a highly successful season which saw them finish top eight at both the Winter and Spring Majors, highlighted by a third place finish in Los Angeles.
Lj had an excellent season with Oxygen Esports, leading them to a sixth place finish in the Winter Split in North America and an eighth place finish for the season. His strong play throughout the year made him one of the most sought-after talents in North America for this transfer window, but he is set to sign with Spacestation Gaming.
The team has also tried out Rogue’s Christopher “Aqua” Campbell and Austin “AYYJAYY” Aebi (who has recently become a Restricted Free Agent with FaZe Clan). Retals remains a Restricted Free Agent for now and is expected to be a duo with AYYJAYY moving forward.
If the move goes through, the Spacestation Gaming roster will consist of:
🇺🇸 Tshaka “Arsenal” Lateef Taylor Jr
🇺🇸 Daniel “Daniel” Piecenski
🇺🇸 Logan “Lj.” Wilt
🇺🇸 Robert Louis “Chrome” Gomez (coach)
