Money expected to join eUnited ahead of Spring Split
Johnny “money” Cambunga is expected to round out the eUnited roster (19th, NA — 150 pts) consisting of Jackson “ayjacks” Carter and Andy “Savvy” Adkins ahead of the Spring Split. Money would be joining from sup, a roster also featuring xpurt and Zineel (who are both regarded as targets for Torrent). Together, the roster experienced some mixed results in various bubble tournaments and tallied 180 points, good for 17th overall in North America, during the RLCS 2021-22 season.
This move comes after the official release of Tristan “tristn” Roberts, who initially signed with eUnited in September of 2020. On February 16th, 2022, tristn was moved to the substitute spot on eUnited and subsequently became a free agent on March 30th, 2022.
Moving forward, tristn is expected to put his full focus back on CRL (Collegiate Rocket League) for Fall 2022 and beyond with the dominant University of Akron program, where he was a part of a team that came in 2nd for the Fall 2020 National Championship and won the Spring 2021 National Championship.
After failing to quality for any Winter Regionals, eUnited are hoping to gain some momentum with this move and consistently earn their place in the Spring Regionals that begin in late April.
