Karmine Corp expected to Sign Noly

French organization Karmine Corp are likely to sign former Guild Esports player Joseph “noly” Kidd to round out their roster for the Spring Split. The move would come after the team put Spaniard Marc "Stake" Bosch Plujà in the substitute position.

The expected signing comes after an up-and-down 2021-22 season for the roster so far, as they are currently eighth (900 points) in the European standings. They finished seventh in both the Fall Split and the Winter Split, missing out on opportunities for the respective Majors in the final events of both splits. While the entire roster struggled throughout the Winter Split, finishing no higher than eighth, Stake did have a standout final event. He lead the team in goals per game (0.86), saves per game (1.61), and Octane player rating (1.027).

However, Karmine Corp will hope that noly can bring more success to the roster after he helped Guild Esports finish sixth and eighth in the last two events. noly has also shown that he can lead a successful roster in the past, taking Guild Esports to a regional victory, a top-four Major finish, and a top-five placement at the European Championships in RLCS X. With Karmine Corp failing to reach those levels this season, noly might be the player to push them over the edge and into the upper echelons of the European RLCS.

Following the move, Karmine Corp’s roster for the upcoming Spring Split will consist of:

  • 🇧🇪 Maëllo “AztraL” Ernst

  • 🇲🇦 Amine “itachi” Benayachi

  • 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Joseph "noly" Kidd

  • 🇧🇪 Wagner "Eversax" Benjamin (coach)
