Team Vitality make radosin their primary target to replace Fairy Peak!

Andrea "radosin" Radovanović takes pole position as Team Vitality have made the Williams Resolve player their primary target to replace Victor "Fairy Peak!" Locquet heading into the Spring Split. Other options remain available to the French giants as they have also looked at former Solary player Brice "ExoTiiK" Bigeard in recent days.

The news of Fairy Peak!’s proposed departure from Team Vitality, first reported by Shift, was later commented on by the French professional on 1st March during his livestream. While suggesting that he was not “officially departing Vitality”, his position playing for the organization was potentially in jeopardy.

The process of finding a new addition to the Team Vitality roster is already in full swing with radosin taking the lead as the primary target. The eighteen year old player enjoyed a breakout season on Atlantide Wave during RLCS X and has since cemented himself as one of the top talents in France after signing with Williams Resolve in September 2021 alongside Pierre "pryyme" Binet and Thiméo "saizen" Corcuff . Together the team has consistently qualified for main events this season with their best result coming in the Winter Regional #1 - Apollo Open where they came 5th-6th. However, despite the talents of the players, they have remained on the periphery of major contention during both splits due to their struggle to make deep playoff runs.

In a statement to Shift, Jeff Simpkins, Operations Director at Williams Resolve had this to say about the situation on the 16th March:

"Radosin is firmly in our plans for Spring and we've had a discussion about our interest in keeping him at Williams Resolve for next year too. At the moment we've not had any offers for him or any of our other players.”

Discussions will take place over the next few weeks before the Spring Split roster lock but in the meantime Team Vitality have already practiced with ExoTiiK who was last seen in the RLCS playing for TrainHard eSport alongside Alexis "Meloshisu" Fernandes and Thomas "Ekon" Chenel back in the Spring Split of RLCS X. ExoTiiK has been without a team since this same roster, playing under the name Les Coquille, disbanded following their failure to make it out of the open qualifiers during any of the three regionals for the Fall Split. Despite this, Team Vitality still has many avenues to explore considering the wealth of talent in the French national scene and will continue the search for a new starting player.
