ThO and Oaly continue the hunt for a new third

Following their departure from Solary after their contracts expired earlier this week, Thomas "ThO" Binkhorst and Ole "oaly" van Doorn have already begun the search for a new addition to their squad. David "Deevo" Morrow, Dylan "eekso" Pickering, Damian "Tox" Schäfer and Cristian "crr" Fernandez have all undergone tryouts with the Dutch duo.

ThO and Oaly departed Solary alongside Mike "Mikeboy'' Verkuijlen and their coach James "JG7'' Guarino on the 1st of August. While this was expected due to the expiration of their contracts this month, the departure was laced with contention after the duo entered into a public quarrel with their former coach that is now resolved. Nonetheless, Oaly and ThO seek to move forward with their new project and are in the process of finding a new player to replace Mikeboy. While the duo haven’t ruled out a potential return for Mikeboy, they are looking at their options heading into the offseason.

Among the options available to them are two new free agents, Tox and Deevo, who both entered free agency recently. Deevo is looking for a new challenge after a strong end to his time on Guild Esports. Meanwhile, Tox is looking to build on his experience with Luminosity Gaming and become a serious contender in Europe having had tryouts with the likes of Evil Geniuses. Another option is crr who has been pursuing a Spanish project with Marc "MaRc_By_8" Domingo since the conclusion of Gamers8 2022, but he remains open to joining an international team if the opportunity arises. ThO and Oaly could also settle on the addition of eekso who is expected to depart Luminosity Gaming during the offseason.
