MaRc_By_8 and crr set to move forward without AtomiK

After a short trial period, the team consisting of Cristian "crr" Fernandez, Sergio "AtomiK" Pérez Cortés and Marc "MaRc_By_8." Domingo have decided to move forward without AtomiK.

As previously reported, AtomiK and MaRc_By_8. were planning to be a duo heading into the RLCS 2022-23 season but things didn't go as planned. The duo recently started scrimming together with the main tryout being crr,who recently entered free agency when Guild Esports decided to move forward with a new roster. It may come as a surprise to some considering their most recent result was an impressive 2nd place finish at the Gamers8 LAN only coming short to a red hot FURIA who secured 1st place and won 500,000 USD.

AtomiK and crr both had a very up and down season with Luminosity Gaming and Guild Esports finishing 9th and 13th respectively in Europe for RLCS 2021-22. AtomiK began the season on Giants Gaming but it became apparent from the start that it wouldn't work out, resulting in his move to Luminosity in January. Crr started the season competing for FC Barcelona with Samuel "Zamué" Cortés and Ivan "Dorito" Ruiz Jiménez but after some disappointing results the team disbanded.. Crr then moved to Guild Esports replacing Bluey where he slowly built a name for himself  at the top of the European scene.

After coming off an unreal season with Team BDS where he won all 3 European Majors with Alex "Extra" Paoli and Evan "M0nkey M00n" Rogez, MaRc_By_8 was seen as one of the best players in the world.. At the start of RLCS 2021-22, Team BDS were seen as Europe’s signature team and while the season started poorly, they showed their class at Fall Major. As the first RLCS LAN in 3 years, Team BDS went on to destroy the competition with MaRc_By_8 putting in an MVP performance to drive his team to success.. However, during the Winter Split, Team BDS didn’t start too hot and looked shaky heading into the Winter Major in LA. They finished the tournament in the 7th-8th place which resulted in MaRc_By_8 being dropped from the starting lineup.  While many teams were interested in signing MaRc_By_8 for the Spring Split, negotiations with interested parties fell through. As a result, MaRc_By_8 was forced to sit on the bench for the remainder of RLCS 2021-22 and is soon to become a free agent looking for a fresh start in his already outstanding career.

One of the favourites to take AtomiK’s place is Dorito who has been practicing with the duo of MaRc_By_8. and crr in recent days. At the moment he looks poised to keep that spot heading into next season and will play a key part in the creation of this  full spanish speaking roster. AtomiK will now begin his search to find a new home for the RLCS 2022-23 season.
